Observed 10-12 individuals in garden and surrounding grounds digging up overwinter ground covers searching for worms, grubs and other ground dwelling insects. ground somewhat thawed at this time.

After recent snow storm several individuals seen in crab apple tree pulling last seasons dried fruits off the tree, flying to cleared driveway and eating what was left.
