Well ,this was certainly a first for me.It was early afternoon (1:30PM)on a bright sunny and very cold day (-24°C)with calm winds.I went to my bedroom to get a magazine and just happened to look out my window, and there in my neibghbour`s maple tree was an American Robin ,all fluffed up and looking rather large and plump. In all my years of birdwatching I have NEVER seen a Robin at this time of year,as they usually have moved on to more Southerly locations.Things never cease to amaze me !!!
