Robins have been seen every month of the year (2008) here in Henderson, Minnesota.
They started off the new year of 2009 by being sighted on New Year's Day, and sightings occurred every day in January. A "wave" (40), was observed on February 1st near Henderson. We feel these may be over-wintering robins which have survived one of our coldest Januarys ever by eating High-bush cranberries, Hackberries, Eastern redcedar berries (cones), and left-over wild grapes.
