Early morning, 0645, foraging on the ground in my back yard. Very robust robin, large and looked well fed. Only the single bird, and the first one seen this winter. Did not appear to be banded. His healthy look is what led me to your site. Will observe more closely in the mornings for multiples of returning birds.
