I first heard the RW in the morning on the 29th. I saw and heard him again this morning, Feb.4. We have about 3 feet of snow on the ground and have had a very snowy, cold, and blustery winter. He was in a stand of 60 year old white spruce and white pine trees that are in my backyard. I typically have many blackbirds that nest in my open fields.
