I have been seeing and hearing robins all winter. The first time I saw one he flew up to the sparrows on the thistle feeder, I was home that week of Christmas. Then the next week,I saw one on my way home, he flew on top of a snow mound. Ever since then I have been looking and listening for them. I hear them singing and see them almost every day. The lone robin high on top of a cherry tree just singing like it was spring, (definitely was the territorial song), and really the temp was below zero. I have been putting out raisins and oranges since last week but haven't seen one feeding yet.
