We live on Batchawana Bay on Lake Superior Lat 46 56 065 N, Long 84 29 956 W. There are over 3 dozen birds feeding along the shoreline where a spring has kept the boulders free of snow and the robins are feeding among these boulders. They have been here all winter. I've never seen this behaviour in all my 50+ years of living here. Posted Feb 8 2009
