Monarch Larva (FIRST sighted)

Date: 01/26/2009

Number: 1

We had our first 3 caterpillars and 1 Monarch emerge. The butterfly didn't make it due to a cold snap for a few nights. Two of the caterpillars were quite small and we could not find them after it got cold. These were the first to go full circle that we have seen since Hurricane Ike in September.
