We had heavy snowstorms in Portland over the winter so I put out our hummingbird feeder and saw several hummingbirds start to feed right in front of my kitchen window off our deck. I have seen mostly the rufous bird but on Monday, I spied a ruby-throated-like hummingbird feeding. After the snow melted, I did not see for awhile. It snowed again a few days ago and I have seen them both again this last week.
