hello from my beautiful hideaway just northeast of Madoc. spring is on its way - saw a pair of ravens 'dancing' in the air - a sure sign that spring is coming. the huge fall of snow has started to melt and the snowbanks are starting to look dirty. I saw a robin flying across the road on my way home from town but I think it may have been around over the winter. there has also been a large flock of starlings that stayed all winter at the local dump - never seen that before! there are icicles dripping on the porch this week...
