I heard the Red Wing Blackbird before saw him. Even though the weather has been quite chilly, the first Red Winged Blackbird of 2009, visited the feeder in my yard. A sight that really lifted my spirits! He feasted on the sunflower seeds and made repeated visits to the birdbath for a drinks of fresh water.
