All through December and January, larva have been present in the backyard of Dan Garza here in Katy, Texas. On 2/9/09 he watched as the first of two Monarach Butterflies came out of their home and sat still until their wings were able to hold them in flight. In Katy, Texas, the Monarch's are HERE.
