Saw about ten robins flitting and calling between the tops of several trees while walking to the store. First I've seen of any in my home town! Again, as I've been saying in my other robin reports, much later than usual. There were also about eight cedar waxwings in the vicinity...in wintertime I often see the two species together...lovely! Anyway, from all of the droppings it looked as if both kinds of birds had been in the area for several days, eating the leftover fruits from the many bradford pears.
