Solo Red-winged Blackbird vigorously eating seed. It's white stripe was accented by only a small color of red toward the end of the stripe nearest the shoulder. The stripe was definitely white, with no yellow visible. I wonder if this could be winter coloration, a protein deficiency, or change in migratory habits of a Tri-colored Blackbird?!
