Tulips EMERGED

Date: 02/19/2009

Number: 1

The air was chilly when we went outside to check the garden. The ground was muddy and mucky. At first we saw nothing, then as we looked, we saw the red tips of the tulips emerging from the wet brown soil. The temperature was 46 degrees F. The sky was gray and cloudy. Yesterday it snowed and rained. We saw nine of our tulips. We planted over eighty.
