I watch and listen for birds and birdsong every day, in anticipation of Spring. I have seen nesting and heard mating calls of the non-migratory birds for two weeks now, in spite of the unseasonably cold temperatures here. Yesterday I thought I heard my first Robin chirp, But I cannot be to sure as it was the only one I heard. I did not see a Robin yesterday. I saw my first this morning! He/she was a big fluffy one, perched on top of my main bird feeder!
