This morning I heard a song sparrow in full song, as well as saw the bird. I also heard a red-winged blackbird singing. This happened at the Big Bear County Park, nin Marlboro, N.J. A park employee told me that he'd seen red-wings 2 weeks ago.
I also saw bud scales opened on a tree.
