Our Mexican milkweed is blooming, and there was a single monarch flying around one of the plants in our back yard. The weather was warm and sunny with little or no wind. We have had a very dry winter.

I've retired from teaching, but will continue to watch for Journey North sightings! Spring is on its way... Jo
