We are birding central for overwintering birds in the foothills of southwestern Idaho (see pix). We have upwards of three hundred red-winged balckbirds overwinter here each winter including this weird past one. I count birds for Cornell's PFW and winter is our busiest time! We sit on four acres adjacent to a perennial stream that the birds use as a migratory corridor.
