I live in Michoacan during the winter months. We were on a picnic in the mountains east of town. During the afternoon I must have counted 20 to 40 Monarchs in the air. The location is about 70 direct air miles west of Angangueo. Approximately
North 19.52.028 and West 100.50.33 I thought is was a lot to see this far in early March.
