My first male Rufous Hummingbird of the year was spotted this morning at approximately 9:00AM at the backyard feeder and was soon chased off by a female Anna's Hummingbird. I can't be sure if it was the same male, but another male Rufous Hummingbird appeared at the same backyard feeder at 2:33PM.
