Students drew pictures and measured the heights of their tulips. One students was incredulous when he realized he had planted his upside down by mistake and it was growing. We discussed why it was whitish green while everyone else had reddish leaves emerging. Every student had at least one tulip emerge (some students planted more than one, and I have 16 students.
