Red-winged Blackbird (FIRST sighted)

Date: 03/08/2009

Number: 1

There were scattered RWBB's at the park when I arrived around 9 a.m. The flyover started around 11 and continued until I left around 1 pm. So for two hours there were birds continuously overhead. Estimating ten birds a minute, which is just a guess, that would make 1200 birds in the flyover. As a gut feeling, I think that number may be too small.
