Saw three within five minutes and one mile of each other on Friday. All flying northerly direction at tree tops. Then, no more for the past two days. Steady breezes out of the south and warm temps over the past five days. No milkweed yet. Flowering trees are good, few other wild flowers in region. Bees and other species of butterfly using the flowering trees, no monarchs observed nectaring. "Extraordinary" drought in region.
