We saw 6 tulips emerging this morning! We are all very excited to see our tulips grow! We predict the sun's energy will cause more of our tulips to emerge this afternoon. After lunch, we are going to go outside again and check the temperatures in our tulip garden, and see if any more plants are showing.

We planted in 3 different locations. There are 3 tulips emerging in Miss Weser's garden, 3 in Mrs. Ankeney's garden, and none so far in Mrs. Ludolph's garden. The soil temperatures were all the same, so we think maybe Mrs. Ludolph's garden did not get as much rain.
