Tulips EMERGED

Date: 03/09/2009

Number: 1

As of today at 2:00 our class sighted nine tulips emerging in the fourth grade controlled garden. The tulips that we saw emerging were redish green and about 2-3cm tall. It was about 60 degrees Farenhiet, but it felt colder (about 40 degrees) when you factor in wind chill. We predict that many of the tulips emerged over the week end because of the rain and warming temperatures. Also, our experimental tulips are emerging. In fact some of our tulips are taller than our controlled tulips. One of the tallest tulips is being watered with milk!
