was digging out in flower garden and noticed earth worms were about 4-5 inches down in the soil.. Then several days later we were going to go fishing and I went out to dig in the garden to get some worms for bait.. and I dug down a almost a foot, and could not find any! I wondered then.. if it was going to get cold again.. YEP.. sure enought... got to 24 degrees for last couple nights and had snow flurries again... not sticking.. but the air was COLD. How did those worms KNOW? They are smart..Fascinating!
