A period of subfreezing temps last week gave way to a two day rise in temperatures (20s-50s)and finally in the upper 60s low 70s for a few days. We saw several robins in our neighborhood and heard one singing close by. Later that day at the Pittsburgh Zoo we saw two robins battling while flying, probably for territory...which appeared to be prime!
