Found many Skunk Cabbages in full (and stinky!) bloom alongside the stream valley trail we were hiking on, in one of the marshier areas. The lower the sun sank, the more pungent the aroma. Really, truly like rotting cabbage. One of my favorite early spring wildflowers!
