Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 03/11/2009

Number: 1

1 small monarch sighted, 1 much larger one sighted in our backyard enjoying the fresh blooms of our mountain laurel trees. The smaller one caught a wind drift and left after only a short visit. The larger stuck around 20 to 30 minutes. In spite of continuously being badgered by all the small black / blue spot on winged butterflies. I thought they were swallowtail but was corrected by my wife( humm). She told me what they were , but have forgotten.( humm). Good Luck with sightings. W'ere anxious to see 'um.
