4:44 pm. 1 Lone eagle flying SW over the Ausable Point Campground access road, 0.6 miles SE of NY Rte 9. The bird was heading over what's called Dead Creek, no doubt heading to the high trees that overlook the creek from it's western end. Alas, no pics, the bird was faster than I was.
