We haven't had any snow fall since mid- Feb. This is a little unusual, as we had heaps of snow well into March last year.
It has been sunny & clear for a least a week. Yesterday (3/14) , during a walk on the golf course , which is right on the north side of lake Ontario, we spotted our 1st robin. All alone & obviously a migrator. Then in the evening, an unusual sound drew me onto my back porch, it was a lone male chipping away. Sunday morning , 2 males were fighting in the yard, staking their territory. So spring is here, I hope!!!
