We noticed the tulips had come up on Feb 27th, 2009 they were about 1 cm tall. Today(3/16/09) the shortest tulip is approx 1 mm tall the tallest is about 2 1/4 inches tall, despite the fact that we had a hard frost and a torrential rain storm.
