A Robin in our yard was "practice singing" very quietly. Later I heard a full fledged out-loud song. I keep track of phenology on a local website for schools and individuals www.sandhillnature.com/pheno-log
This was the first local instance of a singing Robin this year that I've heard of. Yesterday (3/16)I heard several more.
