It was a warm day with snow on the ground. We were really excited and curious to see what it would be like to tap sap. The color and taste of the sap surprised us! The color was clear and it tasted like sweet water. Our school has a lot of sugar maple trees on the grounds. We are looking forward to making syrup from the sap!
