I was taking my daily walk on Sunday afternoon, 03/15/09, and was watching the robins prancing across a lawn at an apartment complex. I noticed one in the group that had totally white plumage! I very carefully worked my way towards the front of the robin, to see if it had an orange chest, which it did. But the rest of it was totally white. I have never seen this before, and I read that this only happens to one in about thirty thousand birds. I wish I had my camera with me, as I would have taken a picture to post. I am going to keep my eyes open, to see if he shows up again.
