All Other Signs of Spring

I was at the St. Patrick's Day parade on 3/17/09 on Fifth Avenue and 55th street. It was 55 degrees Farenheit, the sun was shining and I was looking up at the sky because it was such a beautiful day in the sun when I spotted a large flying object. I looked carefully - it was too small to be a bird, it was not a bat, but the wings were quite large! I kept looking thinking, how could it be a butterfly in Manhattan, so early in March? I kept looking and I saw the yellow and black wings. It stayed high up, maybe 10 stories high (as in a building). Of course, it was not far from Central Park, 59th street and Fifth Avenue, which is full of trees and a reservoir. But, of all places!
