Staff at the Virginia Living Museum report that FINALLY, after 3-4 days of highs in the 40s and steady rain, the fog parted and the buds popped open this morning!! The first Journey North tulips planted by the after school Possum Patrol class [grades K & 1]in the museum's Children's Learning Garden finally bloomed. The Children’s Learning Garden began with Journey North tulips planted in Fall 1998. Welcome, sun, to our 11th year of Journey North Tulip blooms!
