We named this red winged black bird 'Bill" This will be the third year he has been here. He leaves every winter but comes back in the spring. He is not afraid of us. We can sit in our backyard and we will be just feet from us and comes over to eat the seeds we put out. I can be working in the back yard and he will land beside me and peck in the ground and not be frightened!
