We had a few days of 50-60 degree weather and lots of sunshine and our tulips have emerged. We planted about 100 bulbs, and so far about 20 are up. The sprouts are green with red along the edges. They ranged in height from 2 to 8 centimeters. We notice the soil cracking and wonder if more tulips will be coming up where the cracks are.
