Success...we turned sap into syrup! We gathered all of our sap. We filtered, boiled and tasted the delicious syrup. The process was long and interesting. We observed how the boiling sap turned from a clear liquid to a brownish, apple juice color syrup. It tasted like a sweet mixture of caramel and corn. We named it "kaple" syrup after our teacher.
