One student picked up a rock in her backyard and saw earthworms underneath it.
Several students had other sightings:
1. Her dog was sniffing something that turned out to be earthworms.
2. Several earthworms were seen on the ground and under the ground.
3. Several earthworms were seen in one student's driveway after it rained. We figured they were flooded out.
4. Another student saw earthworms when helping her dad dig a hole.
