Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 03/20/2009

Number: 1

Visited Falcon SP and vicinity today. My deepest thanks to Berry Nall for roaming the park with me. We found very few butterflies in the butterfly garden and most species were seen along the 3-mile nature trail, generally engaged in mate-locating, courtship, and/or egg-laying, so it was an interesting day. 30+ species altogether including a monarch.
