I know it seems impossible, but I am sure we saw a rubythroat at our hummer feeder in front of the kitchen window! We are use to seeing only Anna's and we know there are rufous's around, but the ruby throat patch and clean white bib below.
We watched him for about 30 seconds at least and I don't recall any rufous coloring on his body.
