I was on the phone looking out the window across my property and up in the sky. I spotted a bald eagle soaring for about 3 minutes in a circle. The sun was behind me which made the eagles white head and tail stand out like a sore thumb. It was an spectacular sight to watch. When I got off the phone to go outside the eagle had quickly disappeared.
I have never seen an eagle in my little town before, but, they have been reported around the surrounding areas. I am absoulutely positive it was an eagle. You could not mistake it for anything else with the way the sun was hitting it. I told my brother and he said it had to be a hawk. IT WASN'T!
The day and view was so crystal clear that I think my camera would have been able to capture that it was actually an eagle.
