Hello, This is the third year that we are seeing the Painted Lady migration. We are so fortunate the be able to sit in our backyard and watch these guys fly over. They fly over our fence, dip down, then up over our heads and roof. As of this time(3:21 PM 3/24/09) we are seeing 20 to 40 per min. It is fascinating that these creatures know their flight path year over year, and imagine flying over our yard every year which is only 90 feet wide!!! I wish a nature expert were here to enjoy what we are living!!!!
