The Maunesha River along Firemen's Park in Marshall has officially iced out. There is a path of open water flowing through the middle of it with snowy, icy patches along the shores.

My Kindergarten students walked along the edge of the river exclaiming, "The river is growing from all of the ice melting back in it!" A student said,"I just love to see that water sparkle again."
