My husband saw 24 bald eagles on 3/18/09. Viewed as many as twenty-one, nineteen and twenty-four on different days starting a week before the 3/18/09. They were on the ice and in the trees. They were finding fish through the ice. What a sight. Of the 24 eagles spotted, 11 had white heads. My called me in Jeff City MO. Just gave me goosepimples!! I am so sorry that I missed this spectacular sight.
