Three purple martins arived on March 23, and now occupy their aluminum 12 compartment house, that we've had in the yard for over 25 years. 2 male, one female. My son first heard their distinctive call at about 1:45 PM. We live just north of US 412, halfway between Siloam Springs and Springdale, overlooking a bend in the Illinois River, and Ozark National Forest.
