I heard one sing right beside the Mohawk River in Little Falls. I haven't seen large flocks of them in areas were I saw them last year at this time. Just a isolated robin here and there in a few yards. The ground is mostly exposed now. Some people, south of the river, tell me they see several of them around there backyards sometimes hanging with blackbirds. That is what I observed a few weeks ago. That is not very territorial of them. I watched the robins chase the blackbirds out of my yard last year. Last week a helicopter flew over my house around 100 feet and that drew one out. As that helicopter approached It really began to peek.
